Hi everyone,
I have many good news to tell you all right now!
I got my new boots today, that I have wanted for a long time. This weekend I will try them on for the first time. I know it will take some time to get use to the boots, and so far, I like them.
Training is going very well right now, I feel less of my calf problems that has held me away from competing and training. I am close to the 100% of training, that I have been dreaming of for a very long time.
This easter I was at my family in Norway and had a great time there. While I was there I trained cross country skiing almost every day. I want to thank my family in Norway for the easter time with them. I can finally plan for the skating future again. I have alot of training ahead of me and I know I will have to train up my standard level that I was on before.

Ranya is getting better and better...
Hi everyone,
I have not written for a while now, because I wanted to wait until my injury was almost gone and that I could train alot more.
I am on ice alot more now. Most part of the practise on ice I can do. Not all out.
I still have some small problems with my calfs on training that I cant train my legs as hard as I use to. That day will come for me and I am happy and proud that I am still going strong in my mind about all this drama that has been with both calfs for a very long time.
I have missed 1,5 season of World Cups, European Championships and World Championship. Looking forward to do alot of strength training. I still cant run outdoor but that will come as well with time. Time will tell!
There will be more news along the way!

Locking forward to the future
Hi everyone, training is going slowly better. I am on ice 1-2 times a week. This will be a long process to prepare for next seasons. I will hopefully be able to skate later in the season some smaller competitions. But right now I am focusing on being able to train normal hours per week and right now it is small steps towards that goal. I am not in a hurry to train a lot. I see that in the gym I am getting strong quicker than I have planed, which is good news. It is on the ice it takes longer time to be able to do a complete training practice. By slowly getting back, I will be able to stay away from injuries that can appear if I try to get back in training too fast.
When I see this picture above, I think about three things...
First, I miss being that strong on the ice and feeling the fun of training and competition.
Second, I want to come back in shape and skate stronger than I did in this picture.
Third, I get 100% motivated to see my self concentrated.
